How Did Meleik Write his First Story at the age of 3?

Meleik naturally presented the text book approach of presenting the main ideas of the story and then filling in the blanks later.

The Experts: Sum Up the Story in One Paragraph - To have an idea of the beginning, middle and end of the story following this format:

- The Story Outline exposition leads up to a climax; rising action
events. The Climax is the turning point brought by the Conflict.
- The Falling Action is where the story begins to conclude.
- The Resolution is a satisfying ending – the story is concluded.
- Lastly make an Outline using the beginning, middle and end of the story
fill in the story and include conflict or obstacle that the main
character has to resolve.

Meleik’s first story which is the Fighters of Justice Saves their Mother and “Learns to Never Give Up” was originally wrote as:

1st Paragraph
The Power Rangers couldn’t find their way back home. They fight for justice. And they did find their way back home. But when they tried to get back home something stopped them. They broke it it was a real robot.

2nd Paragraph
And the gates opened and closed and they jumped over them. Because they did not know how to stop the gates from opening and closing.

3rd Paragraph
And when they started to open the door it started on magic because the Werewolf threw magic on everything when he came in. When they saw their mom, someone tried to kill their mom. Then they fight then his name was Werewolf Tiger.
________________________________

Meleik’s rising actions were the difficulty of finding their way home which lead to the conflict of Robots fighting them and then the gates were not opening up. The falling action begins when they reach their door, they saw their mom and concludes with the fight to save their mother.

The story is a little different now because Meleik later added where the Fighters of Justice were before they got lost, he changed the names of the characters and added more sentences to fill in gaps.

How to Write a Book - Create Characters for Your Stories

After you brainstormed what you want your book to be about make a list of the characters. Describe what they do. Then describe who they are. Introduce characters at the right time; not just in the beginning of the story.

When Meleik created the Fighters of Justice he waited until he wrote three books before he named the characters. After the third book he developed the characters into having full personalities and superhero powers making it easy to name them based on their characteristics.

You do not have to write three books to name the characters but if you have difficulty in picking names or do not like the names you have picked think about what they do and who they are.
